There should be about 15 Blowers, 5 Fairy Belles and a ‘Wee Thing’ (Guest of Honour, certainly not a ‘Waif’) in attendance.
£50 @ head for aperitifs, 3-course fixed-price lunch, wine and gratuity works out at this price. However, those wishing to choose the beef option – like me – had better add £10 to the cost. Any shortfall, I am quite happy to pay; any profit (!) will go to the charity of choice – probably, Chance to Shine (Cricket facilities for state school children).
