Attached is the Bill of Fayre. Simpson’s say that if we choose in advance, service will be quicker – but this is not obligatory. You can pay me in advance (this, too, is not obligatory) by cheque to ‘D. Woodhead’ –
6 Overton Drive
or by bank transfer to –
There should be about 15 Blowers, 5 Fairy Belles and a ‘Wee Thing’ (Guest of Honour, certainly not a ‘Waif’) in attendance.
£50 @ head for aperitifs, 3-course fixed-price lunch, wine and gratuity works out at this price. However, those wishing to choose the beef option – like me – had better add £10 to the cost. Any shortfall, I am quite happy to pay; any profit (!) will go to the charity of choice – probably, Chance to Shine (Cricket facilities for state school children).
12:15hrs Knight’s Bar
13:00hrs Grand Divan Restaurant
14:30hrs Bishop’s Room (if available) – for display of artefacts and mingling
Times may become approximate.
